Last week at our after-school tennis clinic at Ellis Park, something small happened that said everything about why we do this.
Matthew - one of our stars from last year - arrived ready to play.
Except… he forgot his racquet.
There was a moment of silence.
Then Sam, another one of our stars, looked at him very seriously and said:
“There is one word for that… careless.”
We all burst out laughing
But here’s the thing.
These kids show up every single week.
They support each other.
They hold each other accountable.
They’re learning confidence, discipline, and pride - not just tennis.
We’ve just started year two of our tennis foundation, offering free clinics after school to kids from the surrounding schools.
And to keep this going, we need help.
If this story made you smile - or reminded you how powerful sport can be - please consider supporting us.
Every donation helps put racquets in hands, coaches on court, and kids in a safe place after school.

Thank you for believing in these kids
